Lynch submitted a successful bid the the Massachusetts Department of Transportation – Highway Division in February 2017 for the reconstruction of Belmont Street (Route 123) in Brockton, MA. The project consisted of reconstruction of the drainage system, roadway widening and full depth construction, installation of new traffic signal systems, surface and safety improvements along with other incidentals required to complete the project. The work was completed almost exclusively at night and in multiple phases in order to minimize impacts to pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Lynch also took the lead on coordination of the relocation or replacement of several different utilities, both underground and overhead throughout the project limits.
